The Association believes in advanced education, whether through college, community college, or trade school. To show this commitment we sponsor two Scholarship Programs. The “Foster McCarl, Jr., Scholarship Program” and the “Scholarship Fund of Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry Program”. Both scholarship programs are aimed at giving back to the community, our families and helping the leaders of tomorrow.

One of the most endearing was that we can all build well for our future is to create and maintain Scholarship Program for the sons and daughters of the people of our Industry. In 1966 the “Scholarship Fund of Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry Program” was established. Any group of people who desire to achieve greatness must have a source of pride that comes from within. It is deeply felt that this pride can be ours in that our sons and daughters will have pride in their fathers and the industry they serve. This program is limited to sons and daughters of the membership of Local #449, Local #27 and contributing firms to the MCA of Western Pennsylvania Industry Fund.
