About MCA of Western Pennsylvania

Two Local affiliates of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) have merged. The Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Pennsylvania merged with the Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Pennsylvania on June 16th, 2015 and will be known as the Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Pennsylvania.

The MCA of Western Pennsylvania is a non-profit trade organization representing mechanical contracting firms who employ members of the United Association, Plumbers #27 and Steamfitters #449. The Association provides a wide array of services to our membership, from labor relations to education and training, to involvement in local and state government affairs, and offer specialized business expertise to our member firms. With offices in Erie and Pittsburgh, we represent the mechanical         contracting industry throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Our contractor members design, install and service plumbing, process piping, refrigeration, and heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), and control systems. Many of our member firms also employ Ironworkers, Millwrights, Sheet metal Workers, Laborers, Boilermakers, Electricians, and Operating Engineers. Located in Western Pennsylvania, our jurisdiction encompasses the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Venango, Warren and parts of Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland.

Highly skilled crafts-people, continuing education programs, a safe work force, and good jobs that can not be sent overseas—the MCA of Western Pennsylvania is building Pennsylvania.
